• Mg: 2.6–3.6
• Mn: 0.50–1.0
• Cr: 0.05–0.25
• Si: ≤ 0.40
• Fe: ≤ 0.40
• Cu: ≤ 0.10
• Zn: ≤ 0.20
• Ti: ≤ 0.15

2. Mechanical Properties (typical)

• Tensile strength: 180–280 MPa (depends on temper)
• Yield strength: 80–220 MPa
• Elongation: 10–25%
• Hardness: ~55–75 HB

• Automotive: body panels, chassis parts, inner structures
• Shipbuilding & marine: decks, cabins, fittings
• Pressure vessels & tanks: liquid/gas storage
